THE EFFICIENCY OF AIR DIFFUSION (EZ)
OF THE HIGH INDUCTION DAL 359 DIFFUSER

EQUAL OR GREATER
Ez ≥ 1.0

Within applicable fields of DAL 359, this factor can officially be considered in the calculation of the amount of fresh air necessary for a building utilizing heating through the ceiling with a temperature of 8˚C (15˚F) superior to the room temperature with air returns in the ceiling. Test conducted by the NRC and comply according to ASHRAE Standard 129. The application of ASHRAE 62.1 is mandatory in the NBC-Canada.

In addition to the optimal IAQ, the usage of the DAL 359 requires approximately 20% less fresh air when compared to a traditional cone diffuser with an Ez factor of 0.8 .

The DAL 359 diffuser also has other numerous important benefits which lead to :
• Reduction of construction costs
(possibility of eliminating second stage heating in the peripheral zone, less diffusers ) See " Heating through the ceiling "

• Energy saving

(destratification of the heat between the floor and ceiling)

• Lower operation costs

(reduction of complains of the comfort and possibility of reducing insurance  premiums related to fire hazards)
