Equipment NAD offers a limited guaranty on parts and assembly of its NAC air curtains and accessories for a period of five (5) years from the date of purchase, (The invoice from the manufacturer or distributor are proof of the date of purchase.) provided the parts were carefully maintained, installed and use according to the guidelines set forth by the manufacturer.
Equipment NAD will correct by way of repairs or replacement, to be determined by manufacturer and at no charge to the customer, any defects to its products, provided we were notified in writing of the defect. The request must have been made prior to the end of the guaranty period. Equipment NAD reserves the right to inspect or the have inspected by an authorized representative, defective products on site (installed) before authorizing repairs or replacement.
Any repairs or replacements will be F.O.B. Equipment NAD inc. all shipping charges will be the responsibility of the customer. Parts and assemblies not supplied by Equipment NAD are not covered by this guaranty.
In the case that equipment must be returned to the manufacturer, the customer must first request an authorization return number and the packaging must be identified by this number. Any returns not bearing an authorization return number will be refused upon reception at Equipment NAD.
This guaranty is invalid if the equipment has been modified in any way or shows signs of abuse.
Equipment NAD inc. Will not honor any expenses or responsibility for repairs done by a third party without written consent by its representative.
If Equipment NAD determines that the problem with its equipment is not caused by a manufacturers defect, the customer will be responsible for any expenses.
Equipment is under no obligation to honor the guaranty if it has not received complete payment for the air curtain in question.
The guaranty does not cover and but is not limited to:
Nonobstant tout ce qui précède, la responsabilité d’Équipement NAD inc. Notwithstanding the above clauses, the responsibility of Equipment NAD inc. for all losses or damage resulting from the sale of its equipment or parts by virtue of the present agreement, including but not limited to, allegations of violations to the guaranty, violations of the contract, negligence or responsibility shall be restricted to, at the discretion of Equipment NAD inc. to the original purchase price or the replacement of the unit for which a claim has been approved. Equipment NAD shall not be held responsible for losses or damages direct or indirect resulting from sales of Equipment NAD inc. equipment by virtue of this agreement.
Under no circumstances shall Equipment NAD be held responsible for indirect damages what-so-ever, including loss of material, damages to the building, its content or to occupants.
The present guaranty supersedes all other guaranties, responsibilities, declarations, or obligations of Equipment NAD inc. written or verbal, expressed or implied. No implicit guaranty can surpass the five years intended by this document. No representative, distributor of retailer is authorised to modify the guaranty. This guaranty provides precise judicial rights. You may have others that vary according to province. The present guaranty does not exclude or restrict these rights but coexists with them.
For any claim write to the retailer where the product was purchased, describing the problem in detail. If the retailer no longer exists, you are not satisfied with the service you obtained or you have purchased your product directly form the manufacturer, send a copy of your invoice with a detailed description of the problem to:
